September Empties

It's worrying how quickly this year is flying by. We have headed into autumn which is easily my favourite season and as September comes to an end (and now we are midway through October) I thought I'd share with you some of the products that I've finished during September.

Tea Tree Squeaky-Clean Scrub [The Body Shop] (£7) - I love tea tree products because they really work on keeping my skin clear. I have to admit I wasn't a massive fan of this scrub though. It's billed as a stub but it was too gentle for me and I felt it was more of a wash. Not too certain I'd buy this again.

Tea Tree Skin Clearing Mattifying Toner [The Body Shop] (£5.50) - Another tea tree product but this is one I adore! During the summer this really helped to stop my face getting oily. I apply it every morning after washing my face but with the weather getting colder I may shelf it for now to avoid trying out my skin too much.

Piñita Colada Exfoliating Cream Body Scrub [The Body Shop] (limited edition) - The Body Shop release some amazing seasonal products. This summer saw them welcome a tropical scented range. Their body scrub unfortunately let me down as once again I didn't feel this was coarse enough for me to want to use constantly as an exfoliator.

Piñita Colada Shower Gel [The Body Shop] (limited edition) - I used this sparingly and managed to make it last two months. The strong scent of pineapple when using this was absolutely gorgeous. As the weather started to turn colder it was nice to hang on to a piece of summer and I'm heartbroken that I've finished it.

Roots [Lush] (£10.75) - A hair treatment that helps fine hair. It uses mint to help stimulate the follicles and makes your entire scalp feel cool. There is a lot in the tub and a little can go a long way. I found it really did help my hair to look more voluminous and I've already repurchased this little treasure.

Summer Party Candle [Wickford & Co] (£2.95) - My final piece of summer! This candle gave off a pineapple/tropical scent that was pretty strong. This is the first time I've tried a candle from this company and I'm very impressed.
